Information about the recent water billing issue affecting some customers

For customers NOT on autopay

Hillsborough County Water Resources is alerting you of a recent issue with our water billing system that occurred in March. Due to a technical issue, some water bills that should have been sent on March 5, 2024 for February consumption, were not released. To correct this, the upcoming April 3, 2024, water bill will be a two-month bill. We understand the importance of accurate billing and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Water Resources has diligently worked alongside our billing service provider to identify the cause of the issue and implement corrective actions.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your bill or need to make special payment arrangements for the two-month bill, please contact our Customer Service team at waterdept@hcfl.gov or by calling (813) 307-1000. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

For customers using autopay
