Job overview
Position performs skilled work in the inspection and maintenance of Parks and Recreation splash pads, and related structures, technology, and equipment. Will plan, inspect, monitor, repair, and verify safety compliance for splash pads.
Salary
Minimum: $17.36
Midpoint: $23.00
Maximum: $28.64
Minimum qualifications
- Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate; AND
- Two years of experience in water quality/chemistry for pools and or water parks; And
- One year experience in a related trade: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, painting, or other skilled trades; OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above; AND
- Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License
Additional requirements
- Must obtain a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) certification within 6 months of employment
